GREENHOOD joins the NENUPHAR Annual Networking Event 2025
On 21 May 2025, GREENHOOD will participate in the NENUPHAR Annual Networking Event in Brussels, Belgium. This hybrid event brings together experts, policymakers, and innovators to discuss governance and technical solutions for nutrient recovery and circular economy.
About the event
Hosted by the European Environmental Bureau (EEB), the event offers a dynamic platform for NENUPHAR project partners and sister projects to exchange knowledge, challenges, and best practices in nutrient management. The agenda includes:
- Networking speed-dating to connect with key stakeholders from R&D, industry, farming, and policy.
- Interactive governance workshop to align scientific and policy perspectives on nutrient governance.
Following the afternoon session (13:30 – 17:30 CEST at EEB Office), attendees are invited to an evening film screening and discussion at NOVA Cinema (18:30 – 22:30 CEST). The featured documentary, Green Tide, explores the hidden impacts of agricultural pollution on EU waters, with a post-screening debate featuring director Pierre Jolivet and environmental advocates.
On 22 May, a policy panel at the European Parliament will further examine nutrient pollution’s effects on water resources.
GREENHOOD at the event
Mabel Mora Garrido (GREENHOOD Coordinator, BETA Technological Centre) will present the project from 14:10 to 14:35 CEST, highlighting governance strategies alongside sister projects like BioSoilutions, EU-Farmbook, and P2Green. Together, these projects are driving collaborative solutions to reduce nutrient pollution, promote sustainable farming, and translate research into real-world impact.
