Innovation in Governance and Policies for Nutrient Management in the Ebro Basin
Join the 1st GREENHOOD Governance Lab for the Ebro Basin on 27 May 2026. A collaborative event with the NENUPHAR project to co-create policy roadmaps for sustainable nutrient management.
About the Governance Labs
The GREENHOOD Governance Labs are participatory platforms designed to bridge the gap between technical innovation and policy reality. At each event, we bring together regional stakeholders, experts, and policymakers to co-create actionable roadmaps for sustainable nutrient management.
Our goal is to ensure that the environmental solutions proposed by GREENHOOD are practically feasible, scalable, and perfectly aligned with the regulatory frameworks of the Ebro River Basin demo-region.
What to expect?
This first session for the Ebro River Basin demo-region focuses on the current regulatory landscape and the challenges of fragmentation in governance. Participants are expected to engage in two sessions:
- Session 1: How to establish more effective, resilient, and sustainable governance?
- Session 2: Identifying real-world opportunities and actionable steps.
Please note that this session will be conducted in Spanish and Catalan.
Who should attend?
We warmly welcome representatives from public administrations, local authorities, and water and land managers. The dialogue will benefit greatly from the participation of civil society and nature conservation movements, as well as professionals from the agricultural and agri-food sectors. We also encourage researchers from universities and research centres, along with companies and entities focused on sustainability and the circular economy, to join the conversation and contribute their expertise.
