GREENHOOD joined the International Sustainable Resource Recovery Strategies Toward Zero Waste (FULLRECO4US) Final Conference,  from 5 to 7 May 2025. Experts gathered in Basel, Switzerland, to share innovative strategies for zero-waste resource recovery.

About the event

The FULLRECO4US Final Conference brought together experts, researchers, and policymakers to discuss cutting-edge strategies for sustainable resource recovery and zero-waste solutions. Organised under COST Action CA20133, the event covered topics such as:

• Circular economy & zero-waste approaches
• Water, nutrient, and energy recovery from waste
• Bioenergy, biopolymers, and waste valorisation
• Smart technologies and life cycle assessments

GREENHOOD’s participation

As part of the conference, Laia Llenas Argelaguet, Deputy Director of BETA Technological Center, presented the project’s innovative approach to nature-based solutions for sustainable water management, with a focus on the Ebro River Basin demo region.
