GREENHOOD at the 3rd Fresh Water Net Clustering Event
On March 3rd, 2026, GREENHOOD is returning to the 3rd Fresh Water Net Clustering Event, sharing key achievements and future plans exactly one year after the project’s launch.
About the event
The 3rd Fresh Water Net Clustering Event takes place during the European Ocean Days in Brussels, Belgium. Organised by the BIOEAST Thematic Working Group on Fresh Water-Based Bioeconomy, this hybrid event is a strategic meeting point for innovators, researchers, and policymakers dedicated to strengthening the freshwater bioeconomy across Europe.
The event focuses on practical collaboration, designed to support organisations in the BIOEAST macro-region as they navigate international projects. With a mission to address pressing freshwater challenges, the session features:
- Project pitching for emerging and ongoing bioeconomy initiatives.
- Consortium building for upcoming Horizon Europe and partnership calls.
- Knowledge exchange on innovative pilots tackling climate resilience.
GREENHOOD at the event
Representing the project for the second consecutive year, BIOEAST HUB CZ, a founding national hub and key GREENHOOD partner, is presenting the project’s progress.
One year since its start, GREENHOOD’s participation this year is focused on the project’s evolution in fostering sustainable freshwater management and its success in aligning regional bioeconomy goals with systemic circular solutions. This participation ensures that GREENHOOD remains at the forefront of the international dialogue on nutrient recovery and freshwater sustainability.
