NPOWER addresses the critical challenge of nitrogen and phosphorus (N/P) pollution, which disrupts air, water, and soil ecosystems across Europe. The EU-funded NPOWER project delivers actionable solutions to reduce N/P emissions, restore regional nutrient balance, and promote sustainable resource use. By deploying cutting-edge N/P recovery technologies, scaling up sector-specific best practices, and implementing tailored governance strategies, NPOWER fosters systemic change. The project establishes four regional clusters in Spain, Belgium, Finland, and Ireland, engaging policymakers and practitioners to ensure adaptable, context-specific solutions. Through cross-sector collaboration, NPOWER paves the way for a more sustainable and resilient European nutrient economy.
